Memories of Stitching classes
Each Christmas I pull out these hand stitched decorations and hang them in the archways of my living room. This year as I put them away I felt a surge of happy stitching memories. I feel very fortunate to have had the opportunity of taking lessons from Lynn Payette on a weekly basis or 5 or 6 years. It was an open class room. At times we were working on one of Lynn's designs or we were working on a project or our own. Each year Lynn would design a Christmas decoration or two and the entire class would participate in stitching it. (The date denotes when the stitching was completed.)

your work is amazing-so beautiful
Your work is, indeed, beautiful. Did you create the ornament backing and finishing yourself? They are all so lovely.
They are beautiful - I particularly like the birds - your stitching is wonderful.
I took two classes with Lynn at the EGA National Seminar 2010. I envy you your ongoing workshops with her. I love her presentation and her designs.
How wonderful!!! I love this idea and think I might have to steal it! It would be great to create the annual Elliott family ornament....love it!
And I did take a class from Lynn at one point and did enjoy it but it was soooooo long ago. It was a dragon....
These are wonderful heirlooms for you to use every year. Your stitching is wonderful.
